My News

For any of you that check out my site regularly I got good and bad news. The good new is that I just finished what I would think is a awesome upgrade... the bad new is that it involved trading in my MK3 VW Jetta VR6 and getting a Blue 2001 Audi S4. Some of you that know me your mouth likely dropped to the floor. It is just as much of a surprise to me as it is for you.

Why?
Well there isn't any clear reason other then it was time for a upgrade. I loved that Jetta to death but there was going to be a lot of maintenance costs coming soon.

  • Needed new timing chains
  • Needed new clutch
  • Needed new windshield
  • Softer Suspension
  • Fix a oil leak near the oil cooler

Add that all up and it's more then the "real world" value of the car. Not to mention I just didn't want to spend all the hours fixing them. I know it's kind of a sorry excuse, but likely in a few year it won't just be my wife and I riding in the car any more. So I guess it was time to grow up.

New website?
Yep a new website is in the works.... MyS4.org. Below is links to what has gone on with my 2001 Audi S4 2.7t Biturbo.

What's happens to MyVr6.org?
It will stay up and I'll keep post and pictures and or info about my old Jetta Vr6 when I can.

S4 Plans?
Oh they are in the works. First would be to get a chip installed. 50+ hp for $500 that is a pretty sweet deal and I could join the 300+ hp club. Next would likely be rear sway bar. Then maybe a cup kit or coil-overs. The car handle great already likely much better them my Jetta so I'm not likely going that slammed way again.. maybe only one or two inches lower. From there would be new engine mounts, K04 turbos, RS4 clutch, upgraded intercoolers, stuff like that.

Pictures?
I haven't taken a lot of pictures yet so here is a sample picture. I have had way too much fun driving this biturbo beast. I do have to say it snowed in early Decemeber 2007 and that was fun driving with the Quattro.
